new job - second day
no sleep gotten last light

first day of new job
head chocked full of stuff
from boss' brain dump

boss rocks my work world
trying hard to catch my breathe
and get a grip

hellacious week start
a mountain of paperwork
to keep boss in loop

late call from the men-
"its' really broken"
but they are safe


early morning call-
"Houston- we have a problem"
but it is fixed quickly

that kind of a day
wonder if curse of "13"
is true after all

today's fun-
paper shuffling, meetings,
to-do list from boss

hump day
boss out for rest of the week
the meetings pile up

today's fun chore-
5000 line database
move and tweaking it

real bad news today
"put positive spin on it"
says HR and boss

coming in early
two vendors and parts to get
joy and rapture



start of shift
all aout rah rah meeting
fighting the head nod

friend's last day at work
getting to say goodbye
after trying for weeks

middle of the shift-
machine rep knocks at my door
calling up the boss

SFH-
major clutch goes south
sent for one is wrong

start of week
project deadline looming
nerves not kicked in yet
